IGTAP upgrade priority
Quick answer
The shop doesn't tell you what order to buy in, and the wrong order costs hours. Here's the buying order that survives contact with the actual pacing, plus the reasoning so you can adapt.
The short answer
Base reward first, clones second, multipliers third, movement unlocks whenever they appear. Speed upgrades are a late luxury.
Why base reward first
Base reward lifts your payout on every course and boosts what each clone earns per loop — it's the only stat that compounds in both directions. Two or three points of base reward early is worth more than any single multiplier tier.
When clones pay off
A clone pays you its share (0.1× at the start) every time it loops your best time. Short courses loop fast — a clone on Level 1 earns almost continuously, while a clone on Level 5 waits through a long route between payouts. Buy clones on your fastest courses first.
Multipliers vs more clones
Once you own a couple of clones, the clone reward multiplier is usually the better buy: it raises every loop on every clone at once. The rule of thumb is to push the multiplier until each loop pays a whole number you can feel (the game rounds up), then add more clones.
Speed upgrades: last
Clone speed shortens the wait between loops. That's valuable on long courses and pointless on short ones — and it never beats simply raising the reward. Treat speed tiers as cleanup once your economy is running.
Movement unlocks are economy upgrades
Wall jump, dash and mid-air jump read as platforming purchases, but each one opens new courses — which means new income sources. Buy them the moment they appear, every time.
A clean progression order
- Base reward ×2–3 (Level 1 watts)
- First clone → watch a full loop
- Clone reward multiplier → one tier
- More clones on your fastest course
- Wall jump the moment it appears
- +50% hidden watt boosts when a course stalls — locations here
- Dash → mid-air jump → second clone wave
- Speed tiers last, never first
