IGTAP FAQ

Quick answer

The questions that come up most in the community threads, with the honest answers — including the ones the game itself never explains.

Do demo progress and saves carry over to the full game?

No. The studio announced this directly before launch: demo saves will not transfer to the full game. Your demo hours stay in the demo — the launch build starts everyone fresh.

What does clone size actually do?

Nobody knows for sure, including the community's most dedicated players. It's handed out by hidden upgrades and referenced by an "8% clone size increase chance" stat, but the game never explains it. The leading community theory is that it controls how many clones can be active on a course at once. We'll update this the moment it's confirmed — see Core Mechanics for the full rundown.

I fell into the pit at the end of the demo. Now what?

That's the intended ending. To get back to optimizing, enter the B-sides (intended route) or reset your position through a save edit — steps are in Secret Areas.

Is there a difficulty setting?

Yes, effectively: the B-sides are the hard mode, and the game exposes checkpoint and hard-mode toggles in its options. Play the normal courses first; the B-side entrance opens after the finale.

How long is the demo — and the full game?

Most players clear the demo's five courses in an evening, and 100%-ing it (including B-sides) takes much longer. The full game adds at least two more areas beyond the demo's finale; we'll post real completion numbers as the launch build gets played through.

Is there controller support?

Full controller support — the game was designed around it. Keyboard works fine too; see Controls.

What languages does it support?

Nineteen, including English, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Japanese and Korean — interface and subtitles.

Is there multiplayer?

No. IGTAP is strictly single-player; the only "multiplayer" is your own clone army.

Where should I report a bug or a translation issue?

The devs are active in the official Discord and on the Steam forums — translation fixes have shipped within days during the demo. For corrections to this site instead, use the contact page.
