IGTAP Guidean Incremental Game That's Also a Platformer

IGTAP secret areas

Quick answer

Past the five visible courses, the demo hides three things: a lights-off variant room players call the ghost maze, the pit that ends the demo on purpose, and — in the full game — everything below that pit.

The pit at the end (it's not a bug)

Falling into the final pit is the demo's intended ending. If you want to go back and optimize, you have two routes:

  1. Enter the B-sides — the intended path forward.
  2. Edit your save (last resort): locate playerdata in AppData\LocalLow\Pepper Tango Games\IGTAPsnfDemo\Savedata, open it in Notepad, and set the first pair of coordinates ("x" and "y") to 0.0 to reset your position. Back up the file first — this is the community workaround, not an official feature.

The lights-off room (the "ghost maze")

Some players return to a dark Level 5 with the lights simply off. Community reports tie it to progress state rather than a puzzle — the way through is to rebuild your abilities (re-clear Level 1 if your save reset), pick up dash block swap when it appears, and take the route down the hole below. You can't brute-force this one with tech.

THE HOLE and the second area

The full game continues past the demo's pit: a grass-covered second area where the terrain stops regenerating your abilities, a third sky area the community only glimpsed in files, and an Atom Collider room whose whole job is converting your watts into atoms — a second currency with its own upgrade tree. (The wings on your back and the green dots above your head in later builds are an ability readout: wings = air jumps, dots = dashes.)

The ghost maze's neighbors

The demo also quietly contains early versions of places that got recycled into the launch build — players datamining saves and map files keep finding unused rooms. If a wall looks like a door and the ground looks like a placeholder, you're probably looking at one.
